FAQ
Good questions before you buy.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Tendrite Pro is a one-time license for the Pro app capabilities. An optional hosted Cloud Relay service may be offered separately in the future.
Can I verify my license offline?
Yes. The desktop app verifies the signed license locally after activation. An internet connection is needed for initial activation or when the app needs to refresh license state.
Are updates included?
The release policy will be finalized before the live launch. The purchase page will state exactly which updates and versions are covered.
Do I need Tailscale?
No. Tailscale is one private connectivity option for reaching your machine. It is not required for the local workspace or for using the app on the same machine.
What is Cloud Relay?
Cloud Relay is a future optional hosted service for connecting to your Tendrite machine without managing your own network path. It is separate from the one-time Pro license and is not required for Pro.
